DR ‹ › The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports announced on Tuesday that it has made the «TelmidTICE» digital distance-learning platform available to ensure educational continuity in schools, including pioneer institutions, that have been closed following weather alert bulletins issued by the National Directorate of Meteorology (DMN). In a statement, the Ministry explained that, as part of efforts to maintain learning continuity, the remote-learning platform is accessible to students from all affected schools. This measure follows weather alerts forecasting heavy rainfall in several regions of the country and is being implemented in line with recommendations from vigilance committees, with the aim of safeguarding the safety of students as well as teaching and administrative staff. It is also consistent with the regulatory framework governing distance education and academic support mechanisms, the statement added. The TelmidTICE platform provides students with educational support resources in the form of video lessons, validated by educational inspectors and specialized professionals. These resources are organized through an intelligent indexing system, allowing learners to follow lessons according to their chronological and weekly progression. The platform also offers ease of use, smooth navigation, and accessibility across multiple digital devices. Access to the platform is available to two categories of users: teachers, through their professional "taalim.ma" accounts, and students, using their «Massar» codes, ensuring secure access and protection of digital services, the Ministry noted. The Ministry also highlighted that TelmidTICE offers free access to video-based digital courses without consuming mobile data (zero-rating). The platform can be accessed via the following website: https://telmidtice.men.gov.ma.
